I approached and quietly asked if he understoodwhat was required of him. In a hushed tone, he replied“ I chockedmy pants. ”We both stared at each other for amoment.With heart inmouth, I asked himto repeat what he’d said. When I enquiredwhat the problemwas, he described having had a PE lesson the previous day, and finding it unusually painful to walk that morning, only to find he was wearing two right shoes.
