Teach Secondary - Issue 14.6
Gain teaching inspiration while helping your students explore the wider world with these engaging print and digital titles Review magazines 1 UP-TO-DATE ARTICLES Textbooks, particularly in fast- moving subjects, require up-to-date articles far sooner than a full book can be produced. That’s where the Review magazines from Hachette Learning come in. With most of our magazines published quarterly, our new volume begins in September this year. Upcoming issues include accessible, yet in-depth articles on the rise of AI, 2025’s Local Election results, the UK energy dilemma, poet Carol Ann Duffy and the changing shapes of families and households. 2 AUTHORS YOU CAN TRUST Full of practical exam tips, the magazines can help strengthen thinking skills and provide a sense of real-world context, helping learners avoid pitfalls while contributing to their understanding of how different subjects fit together. The magazines also provide practical tips and next steps for how students might further their studies and future careers. They offer quality content reviewed by editorial boards, ensuring the information given is accurate, and give teachers the opportunity to teach challenging topics in a balanced way. 3 SEAMLESS DIGITAL OPTIONS Hachette Learning has invested in a new platform which uses the same technology as newsstand magazine websites for our eLibraries, which include the digital versions of all our current magazines as well as a back issues archive. This improves user experience, and makes the articles and their accompanying graphics and photographs more straightforward to read. The shift to flowable text also improves searchability, enabling themes to be searched across multiple titles, which helps teachers locate up-to-date articles and plan lessons. 4 SIMPLE, SHAREABLE ACCESS Our new digital hub for the magazines features a ‘Single Sign-on’ option, meaning that librarians and teachers can assign content to students without uploading lists of data. Our magazines and other digital products are supported by our Admin Hub and Digital Support Team, who can help with any questions around access and sharing if you can’t easily find the answers on our Admin Hub. Users can also reach out at any time to our Customer Success team for expert advice. 5 REGULAR ONLINE UPDATES Our digital eLibraries are now updated with new issues once the print editions are published, so there’s no waiting before receiving your digital content. There’s never been a better time to subscribe to our eLibraries, which are growing all the time with the regular addition of digitised articles from new volumes, plus hundreds of articles from our back issues. We also offer a separate eMagazine option, which provides whole-school access to the current volume of each magazine.
