(You’re welcome) Make art for climate justice Schoolchildren up and down the country are putting their creative talents to use in artwork, poetry and prose as part of a new initiative aimed at helping young people raise their voices on environmental issues. Creative for Climate Justice is a partnership between CAFOD, Christian Aid, Oxfam GB, Send My Friend to School, and the Royal Society of Literature, with support from The Climate Coalition. Schools sign up for a set of resources, which teach children about the climate crisis and challenge them to come up with creative ways of sharing their opinions and their hopes for the planet – whether in drawings, sculpture, poetry or prose. Pieces from each school will be selected for a national online gallery, as well as an exhibition in the Houses of Parliament, to inspire MPs and Ministers to take action.
