After a period of closure due to fire, Bristol’s science centre, We The Curious, will be reopening its doors to curious minds this summer. As part of the reopening programme, schools can book newly developed workshops, designed to sensitively explore the causes and impacts of climate change. Extensively researched and piloted during the closure thanks to funding from the National Grid, the Key Stage 2 workshop takes the form of a fun, collaborative game based around a fictional island. Pupils work together to make choices and see the impact of the resulting carbon score on a model of the island.
